The Risk-taker vs. The Safe Player

What good does it bring?

In a poker game, once you get your pair of cards, your first action will either be check, call, fold, or raise. I will usually "check" when I'm starting with a big or small blind whether or not my cards are good. I will "call" just when my cards are playable, otherwise, I will fold right on. I will "raise" if, and only if, my cards look like winning cards. This is the "Safe Player's" gameplay.

Now the setback is... you folded (as in my condition) and the cards laid on the table should have won you a big pot!

What have you? Regrets.

So, will you play it safe or take your chance with the riskiest ALL-IN? :D
